DANA FARMS POOL RULES 2006
Pool will open May 1st.
Hours are 8 am till sundown.
Any person swimming outside of these hours will have their pool privileges suspended and reported to the police as trespassers.
The following rules have been established for the benefit and protection of all Dana Farms homeowners, family members and guests. The pool rules are established by the Dana Farms Homeowners’ Association Board of Directors. These rules are designed to ensure proper operation of the facility and to provide a safe and pleasant environment for all to enjoy.
All members and their guests are required to abide by these rules. Parents must caution their children to observe all rules. Parents are ultimately responsible and will be held accountable for the conduct of their children. Homeowners are responsible for their guests at the pool.
The swimming pool has no lifeguard or other individual on duty. The Association assumes no liability for any personal injury or loss of property. Use of pool and pool area is at one’s own risk.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING RULES MAY RESULT IN SUSPENSION OF POOL PRIVILEGES FOR AN INDIVIDUAL AND/OR FAMILY.
- No acts of vandalism to the pool, pool house, equipment, furniture and/or surrounding area will be allowed or tolerated. Any individual(s) committing any of these acts will lose all pool privileges. The homeowner will be held responsible for cleaning, repair, replacement, and all costs incurred by the HOA as a result of the act. In the event the individual(s) are family members or guests, the homeowner shall assume full responsibility. ANYONE CAUGHT VANDALIZING WILL BE REPORTED TO THE POLICE. Anyone witnessing a vandalism act/crime should contact the police directly. The Police are authorized to enter the premises.
- No abusive, offensive, or profane language or behavior is permitted.
- A resident ADULT (18 and older) must accompany guests at all times
.
- Residents are responsible for the conduct and actions of their guest(s) and children
.
- FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY REASONS, PERSONS AGE 13 AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED AND SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT (18 AND OLDER). NO EXCEPTIONS
. Remember all guests must be accompanied by a resident member 18 years of age or older at all times.
- Do not play with lifesaving equipment.
It is for emergency use only.
- . No leaving the swimming pool entry gate open or climbing over the fence.
- No playing with drains, skimmers, or other pool equipment.
- No pets or animals are allowed in or around the pool, in the park, or in
surrounding areas.
- All litter and waste must be placed in the trash containers provided.
- Smoking is not permitted in the pool area.
- Do not remove patio furniture from the pool area or use furniture for other
than intended use.
- Beverages are ONLY allowed in plastic, aluminum, or paper containers
. Please no glass.
- No person having open sores, inflamed eyes, nasal or ear discharge or any
communicable diseases is allowed to enter the swimming pool..
- In the event of inclement weather, swimmers are to clear the pool during the storm and for at least thirty (30) minutes after lightning and/or thunder has ceased
. You are welcome to stay in the pool area during this time, but are cautioned to stay a safe distance from the water.
- The following are NOT allowed in the pool
:
Diapers ( must be waterproof swimmers )
Diving
Food (only by the Cabana clubhouse)
Levi’s or cutoffs
Large rafts or inner tubes (only 1 person size)
Large floating mattresses, chairs or any other float device (only 1 person size)
- The following are not allowed in the pool and/or pool area
:
Excessive noise
Rough play
Glass (CA Penal Code 55)
No riding Bicycles, skateboards, roller-skates, or rollerblades inside the fenced in pool area.
Radio playing (earphones OK)
Fighting (This will result in immediate suspension of pool privileges)
Profanity, Offensive or abusive language or behavior of any kind. (This will result in immediate
suspension of pool privileges)
Swim safely and treat others, as you would like to be treated. Do not throw items when others are nearby. Let’s make this a safe and pleasant swim season for everyone.
